Central Tokyo Mountain Vacations

This was our first time staying in Ueno and our first time staying at a Monday hotel. We were a family of 7 (booked 2 separate rooms) and we loved our stay! Everything about it - the front desk staff, the room itself, housekeeping, closeness to train station, shopping, etc. - was amazing! Unfortunately our flight got cancelled/delayed 2 days due to Typhoon Jangmi, but the staff were able to help accommodate us for those 2 extra nights, which was really nice. Even if they couldn't, it would've been understandable. I highly recommend this specific hotel any day. We can't wait to come back. Thank you!!!

Loved the sauna and the large tub

The room was exactly as described. Staff is welcoming and helpful. All went smoothly. Very quiet at night. Convenience grocers very close by. Ueno station close by, easy walk. Lots of food choices nearby.

Google maps brought us to the staff entrance at the rear but it was not much of a problem.. Room was lovely,nice location and staff were friendly and helpful.

I booked this room the last minute, and our family has been traveling Hong Kong, and Japan (Osaka, Nara, & Kyoto). This hotel was the best out of all the hotels. It had washer/dryer combo machine, Nepresso machine, cooking utensils, refrigerator, large bath, etc. The only negative would be no view of outside as there was a building right next to it.

For what I paid very disappointing, although I imagine that its nicer when its not under renovation. I overall do regret staying during my short stay in Tokyo. I had a suite on the 15th floor, and I'll say the spaces looked much bigger in pictures. However the view was excellent and the outdoor tub was also awesome. Great views at night. My room wasn't available for check-in till 3, when it was clear no one had stayed in it for a while. It was nice-ish but had quite a few stains and things like that. Upon initial arrival about 2 hours before checkin, I tried to drop off my bags and was slightly rudely turned away by a front desk associate, who made very clear check in was 3pm and after some back and forth, she luckily took my bags. Not the hotel's fault, but I'd figured I would note that Odaiba is a neat area but it is VERY inconvenient to get anywhere in Tokyo fast from here. If you plan to use trains, expect quite a few extra transfers than regular. Also, the hotel was under renovation as of writing this and the noise was very apparent and quite annoying/obstructive when you were in the lobby or anytime you were navigating the building. Temporary walls have been put up and the place has turned into a maze. The staff were normally kind enough to help out. But its very hard to find your way around and construction is obviously not something you want to be hassled by or thinking about when you're paying several hundred dollars for a room.

We were so spoiled as guests and consequently had very high expectations for the following stays during our trip (that those fell short). Very friendly and helpfull staff. Spacious room. Not very centrally located, but there were some cafes/ restaurants and convenient stores on walking distance. We arrived very early in the morning and had to pay for an extra night in order to get the room before check in time (price was higher than when booked thru Expedia)

One of the best place you can stay in Tokyo during cherry blossom season. Staffs are would class too-notched helpful, passionate, and friendly. I am impressed by their omotenashi evolved to a new level that it’s not clinical but genuinely interested in you.

Great hotel for your stay in Tokyo. Minato is a nice quiet area. Hotel is convenient to Hamamatsu Cho station, for easy access to Tokyo station, Disney, Shibuya and Shinjuku. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. I’ll stay there again. My wife and two daughters loved it!

Overall, very satisfied with our stay. Everything was clean and washer/dryer combo was great since we packed light. Location was also great and close to train station. They also provided amenities such as toothbrush, laundry detergent, and there was also housekeeping once during g our stay.

Over rated per pictures and a sub section of a much larger hotel which was a surprise plus rooms ok not at level for cost per night. Staff very nice.

Just came back from Japan after spending 5 nights in Tokyo and stayed in this hotel. We stayed in 1 Bedroom Suite Room 6 and was very satisfied with the room. First of all, we booked this hotel/room because we saw in the pictures how spacious it is and was happy to say that the size met our expectations! The room was cozy and all amenities are available, either in the room, from the self service counter downstairs or when requested from receptionist. We borrowed a rice cooker which worked well. Also cooked using the induction cooker. Big fridge and modern microwave which we used a lot. Bonus to have washer dryer combo and the dryer function really works unlike typical hotel dryers. You can see that the hotel really takes note and responded to many complaints in the review e.g. clear info on frequency of housekeeping with exact dates. There’s 24hr supermarket nearby which we frequented daily and the prices are cheaper than kombini. Lawson, 7E and Family Mart are also nearby and Ginza shopping district is walkable around 15 mins. Even rented nearby Toyota car store for a day trip to Mt Fuji. Saw a lot of Singaporeans stayed here throughout our trip. Room is clean, shower pressure superb, and there’s tub as well as double sink. Overall highly recommend if the price is right.

I learned the hotel was opened a month before our stay, the whole place was impeccable, from reception to every space in the room. Staff is super friendly, spoke good English and made us feel welcome. If we get the chance to travel to Tokyo this is where we will stay.
