Kanto Region Kid friendly Vacations

I would like to say everything was pretty good in the Prince Sunshine Hotel but, there are a few downsides. The location is very convenient, the hotel connects with the sunshine city mall which is great for shopping and dining. The staff at the front desk lacks training (some of them). The Hotel is super busy, hundreds of guests and the hallways and elevators are mostly everyday packed with people and luggage and children running in the hallways, it becomes noisy and crowded. It is a little bit far from Ikebukuro station, if you don’t like, or can’t, walk long distances, probably you have to choose another Hotel.

The breakfast and the staff just amazes me

We had a wonderful stay at Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole. The hotel was exceptionally clean, modern, and very comfortable for our family. The rooms were well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. The staff was outstanding—always friendly, professional, and eager to help with any questions or requests. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the breakfast. The selection was incredible, with a wide variety of delicious options. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and a great way to start each day. The location is excellent. The hotel is directly across from Tokyo Skytree and just steps away from the train station, bus stops, and easy access to taxis, making it extremely convenient for exploring Tokyo. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo, especially families looking for comfort, convenience, and great service. Thank you for a fantastic stay! 😊🏨🗼

A grand layout with unbeatable amenities around the immediate vicinity.

Great place to stay. The breakfast buffet was good. Towels and toothbrushes were replaced every day. The staff are accommodating.

I expected a picture perfect stay. The only things that were slightly off: 1. mag-safe phone charger wasn’t working (they replaced it) 2. Breakfast was amazing but waiter never asked me if I wanted any juice. 3. The arrangement of the floors is a little wacky. The 41st floor is reception. You take an elevator to higher floors to reach the guest rooms. To get to fitness center you go to 45th floor for entrance and then a side elevator to 47th floor for actual gym/pool. Felt like solving a maze. I love the two bar floors. Just like what I remembered from the film “List in Translation.”

Clean place and close to amenities. Laundry and gym good. The only thing I did not like was breakfast, not worth the money. Other places in the area that u can go to. They should also offer shuttle services from airports, to a few point of interest places and perhaps Disney Tokyo? Subway is close but if its your first time it can be overwhelming to try to figure out all the lines.
