Victoria Kid friendly Vacations

Room is considered spacious with kitchen, bathroom and living room. It’s also clean when we checked in. Counter staff are all very polite and helpful. We had a nice and smooth experience checking in and out. Location is awesome at Burke street and it’s only few minutes walk to main shopping mall area and we have a tram station right outside Citadines. However the housekeeping needs to be improved. We stayed for 7 nights and we were informed that our room would get cleaned up on 3rd and 5th day (which we are fine with it). But one day, the dishes were not washed and on the other day, the rubbish bin wasn’t cleared. We would expect a higher room keeping standard. Also on one night when we requested for 1 fresh towel as we realised one of our towels was stained, we were informed they ran out of bath towel… no way! How could an apartment hotel ran out of bath towel? Can’t imagine this… Overall, we still like and enjoy our stay.

Great shower in the room, excellent breakfast, rooftop pool needs more loungers. Busy hotel but well managed.

Always great to stay at the Novotel on Collins. Perfect location to, well everything; shopping, restaurants, theatre, cinemas and transport. Tram right out front and Flinders Street station, one block away. Plenty of car parking options nearby if driving. Staff are always friendly, rooms are spotless and they have all the amenities you need, and smack in Melbourne central. Enjoy your stay!
