It was a good stay in almost all material ways save the semi permanent protest area with chairs tables and protest signs as a result of employee firings at the main entrance. One should be aware that there may be a large protest against the hotel taking place at the one and only pedestrian entrance to the hotel on a day of your stay (as was my case).

Do not like to shower in bathtub

Clean and affordable restaurant for dinner. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Good property. I enjoyed the king bed. Breakfast was good. I just didn’t like how dark it was. Dark decor, hallways, and rooms.

OMG this is a luxury apartment in the sky but the Classic 500 is run as a hotel, the size of the room was amazing, and if it had a washer dryer that helped as South Korea was the last leg of our journey. The only negative but this seems to apply to not just South Korea but Japan as well, Hotels in this region charge to use the swimming pool. However I would come back to this place tomorrow if I had the chance. Amazing staff and an amazing 5 star experience

Wifi was not available. This was surprising and out of expectation. We needed to purchase additional e-SIM from online supplier after arriving urgently. Another point was drainage of kitchen was terrible. Water didn’t flow and smelly water accumulated in the sink. Another issue was the flushing of toilet was not good. I believe Wifi unavailability is a breach of contract, I would like to request to compensate e-SIM cost.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was huge and very clean and nice. Room service meals were sensational.

The shuttle services are amazing!

This hotel is rated as a four star. In all of my travels I can honestly say that it should be a 3 star. Room pictures are deceiving making them look larger. Lobby has only 2 chairs and a bench. Air conditioning will not cool the rooms any lower than 23.5 C, and room hallways are not air conditioned at all. Buffet breakfast is ok, and staff are very polite and courteous. Building is run down...in need of a major renovation. Been to other Shilla Stay hotels and I have never had these issues in the past

Great location. Clean and room was big enough for 2 people with twin beds. Washroom clean. There was also water dispenser in the room for hot or cold water.
