Very spacious room, helpful staff (we met Michael and the French chef at the breakfast restaurant, they are really helpful and cheerful), wonderful view Except one of the staff at the reception assumed asian (myself) should speak Mandarin, cos he only knows Japanese and Mandarin, but very little English. My husband is from England and the staff insisted to speak to me in Mandarin. I guess as a paid customer we will have to do what's convenient for the staff not the other way round right? I hold a hk passport doesn't mean I HAVE to speak Mandarin or know this language. Never Assume, we speak Cantonese in HK.

Room was great. Very spacious for a room in Japan. The Cross Floor had a nice water and ice dispenser. Access to the lounge was nice. Provided drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages) and snacks. I wouldn’t overspend for the Cross Room Floor for lounge. Breakfast was good. Various options to eat. Location was ideal for Dontobori if that’s where you want to be nearby

Property may show a little age but the service is exceptional. The staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect. They were super helpful and accommodating and they were some of the most thoughtful and polite people we encountered in Japan! Our room was always pristine and our amenities like slippers and sleeping shirts were always refilled and fresh! Though the hotel was busy it was very quiet and calm there. All the restaurants we tried were excellent! It’s not far from the subway/trains or bus stops but we ended up using the GO taxi app to get most places because they are cheaper and more numerous than Uber there.

This hotel was clean and nice. The staff that worked there were very friendly and helpful. The location for walking and shoping perfect. was an easy ride to and from the airport

Small but nice modern room. Excellent onsen. 10am checkout TOO EARLY. 2000yen per extra hour
