Probably one of my best experiences at a hotel! I absolutely adored the receptionist who helped me figure out how to find places and gave me recommendations on where to eat in the area. Convenient store right next door to get your banana milk and ramen😋🍜 The manager that was on duty on Thursday 28th May 2026 between 2-3pm was ever so kind to us and even gave us a few coupons to have coffee and 1 free breakfast buffet ticket. It was an absolute pleasure spending time at Shilla stay and will definitely be coming back soon!

Rooms were a lot bigger then others in Seoul. Beautiful, lots of space, comfy beds. The property was fantastic. No plug ins by the beds though! The breakfast wasn't included and it was pretty expensive but a very extensive buffet.

We had to wait 2 hours for checkin. I know the check in time is 3 pm, but there are always some rooms that are ready earlier. Then at 3pm there were many people checking in at the same time. I liked the location. Airport limusine in front of the hotel for 18000 won. one washing machine and one dryer for the entire hotel. we paid a higher price with expedia, but the room was on the 11th floor with a nice view. we did not have time for breakfast unfortunatelly. There was some renovation gaing on in the foyer when we were there.

The rooms on the 9th floor had a strong odor and it was not very pleasant. Maybe rooms facing the ocean side will be better. Our rooms faced the street side across from Busan bakery. Otherwise, the hotel is in a very good central location and we liked being close to the beach and surrounding Haeundae area.

It’s rare to have a full kitchen and that much space in that location in Seoul. Just minutes to subway. It was very quiet and convenient. Went back for the second time around for the quality.

We had a wonderful stay at Lotte Hotel Seoul. The location is outstanding, right in the heart of Myeongdong and within easy walking distance of attractions such as Myeongdong Cathedral, Deoksugung Palace, and Cheonggyecheon. The hotel’s proximity to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing made exploring Seoul incredibly convenient. A special thank you to the concierge team, who helped arrange a facial and head spa experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. We also appreciated the variety of excellent dining options within the hotel and found ourselves eating there frequently for both convenience and quality. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The staff were professional, helpful, and attentive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. While the hotel is centrally located, neighborhoods such as Gangnam and Itaewon are also just a short taxi ride away. Overall, an excellent hotel in a prime location. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Seoul. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was very happy to see that I could check in several hours earlier when I arrived. Was also given an hour later check out. Chose this hotel as it is near the airport did not expect all the wonderful restaurants, amenities of hotel and seaside restaurants. The room opened very nicely for a view of the ocean. When I arrive, the room was quite warm and I was told there’s no air conditioning at this time of the season to open my window and let the wind come in. it’s certainly helped. Night for sleeping with window open was very comfortable. I recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a beach experience in 20 minute ride to the terminal two airport. Receptionist was very kind accommodating spoke English very well.

Overall, this is a good choice for staying in Myeongdong as it is just across the street from where the concentration of shops begin. The room we booked with two beds (one single and double bed) was a little tight for our group of 3 but we were still able to find space to lay out our 3 large luggages. The staff very are friendly and helpful. The check-in for me was a little confusing because the reception desk is not on the same floor as the main entrance and since I arrived late on the day of check in, I did not immediately know where to go. Normally there would be someone at the entrance bell desk, but because I arrived late, I guess they don't have anyone there at those later hours. It would help to have after hours signage. My only other complaint would be the gym. Although, I appreciate that they at least have one, the equipment was limited and dated. With everything said, I would still stay here again because of the location and friendly staff.
