Mikayla is the person that made our stay what it was. We decided to upgrade to a room with lounge access as my wife has coeliac disease. Not only did Mikayla make sure it was relayed to the kitchen each time we arrived at the Crystal lounge she made sure it was noted for all staff members in the lounge. Mikayla was just a super star and my wife appreciated her more than words can say. Her kindness and pure care about my wife needing to be careful so as not to get ill was much appreciated. There was also a younger gentleman some days in the lounge (unfortunately we didn’t get his name) was also fantastic. The older gentleman really had no idea and even said my wife was fine to eat lasagne so we very much only trust Mikayla and the young gentleman who always bought her food directly from the kitchen. We loved our time spent by the pool, it was relaxing and what we had expected, we also visited the roof top garden which was a beautiful space. Our room was large enough for us to utilise with our heavy cases loaded from our time in the UK before coming home to Aus however we did find a few things that could be improved on in the rooms. The bathroom needs better attention cleaning wise and potentially new blinds for the shower area. We found the see in to bathroom aspect on a room it’s size pointless as no one wants to go to the toilet with an audience and waiting for the blind to come down takes time! Somewhere to hang towel (not next to the toilet) is needed for sure.

Wonderful staff, check in etc was very easy. My room was on the 18th floor and my travel buddies were on the 4th floor (would have been nice to have been on the same floor but may have been because of the room type). We ate at the restaurant for buffet breakfast and the buffet dinner, it was really tasty and a great way to try some different cuisine. My room was great, amenities were brilliant and when my bathroom plug got stuck staff fixed it for me ASAP. My room was a little scuffed up and could do with a freshen up but was clean and had everything I needed. The water dispensers on each floor is great! Although the walls could do with a wipe down from water splatter. I would definitely stay here again. The pool and gym facilities were great too

Fantastic stay. I'll be honest the place doesn't look much from the outside, but once you're inside the lobby is nice, and the rooms are nothing fancy but clean. We stayed in the family room and it was so spacious, great for a family of 4, and at a reasonable price. Pool area has a perfect sized kids pool for young children with a small playground. Staff were friendly, gave us an early check in and also we arranged a half day stay in the room till 6pm which was perfect for a late flight out of Singapore. Well located for Mrt with an easy walk to somerset or dhoby gaut stations. Would definitely stay again.

Great central hotel with a much better gym than the photos suggest We had a really good stay here. The location is very central and convenient for exploring Singapore, and our room was clean, spacious and comfortable with a big bed, strong air conditioning and a separate toilet and shower, which was a nice touch. All of the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Check-out was really quick and easy, although check-in did take a little longer than expected. The gym was also a real highlight for us. We’re a UK couple in our 30s who strength train 4x a week, and it had more than enough equipment for two really decent sessions while travelling. There’s a good range of machines, cables and free weights, plus a proper rack, platform and barbell setup — I was able to do RDLs and my husband used the rack for incline bench. The hamstring curl was particularly good with a really smooth resistance profile. There are also body-composition scales, a sauna, pool and outdoor turf area with a high-quality sled for conditioning. A special mention to Mark in the gym, who was fantastic. He spent plenty of time chatting with us, was incredibly friendly and gave us lots of great local recommendations. He really added to the experience. Overall, a comfortable, well-located hotel with friendly staff and excellent facilities. The online photos definitely don’t do the gym justice.
