Nicely appointed and clean hotel. Downgrded for a tiny shower (be prepared to be wrapped in the shower curtain), keys on big clunky / old-fashioned fobs (get key cards already), and lack of reception staff most of the time. Positives - good breakfast, very close to public transport, fan in room. Expensive, but that's Zurich.

Wonderful Experience at Hotel Tivoli I had a great stay at Hotel Tivoli! A special thank you to the kind lady at reception who stayed up late to accommodate our late check-in—her patience and hospitality were truly appreciated. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection, and the staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Their attention to detail and warm service made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality.

Clean mid price alternative to airport/city center

Staff generally helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good for value and a highlight of this hotel. Double rooms are quite small with little room to maneuver or sit. Triple room layout is better, but somehow in ours part of the carpet smells of sewer/toilet discharge. Not sure why. Hotel area is quiet and convenient to local restaurants (Italian, American, Turkish), supermarket (CoOp) and train station. Bus ride to Uetliberg train is quite scenic. Also, we didn't pay much attention until we arrived ... hotel doesn't have A/C although leaving windows open at night should cool rooms to comfortable temperature to sleep. Quite a few local hotels do not have A/C and I think it has been OK until global warming becomes real. The problem is to keep privacy while windows are open ... curtains won't close completely.

Nice Place to Stay

This hotel is about an eight-minute walk from the main train station. It was not anything fancy but it was clean and comfortable (better than expected) and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Modern and sweet

Staff, ground and ease of access to public transportation were wonderful! The hotel is super cute and modern. Breakfast was simple but delicious and the staff was so kind and helpful. I wish the pillows had been more firm and I wish there was an additional fan or air conditioning for the room.
