"Hotel room has a lovely feel and design however the beds are quite uncomfortable, there is only one pillow and the unusual design of the bathroom means the light illuminates the whole bedroom meaning using the bathroom at night is awkward. "

"The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Cologne. Check in was easy and the room was well proportioned and had everything we’d need. A de reasons it wasn’t a 5 star for us was the sheets were incredibly itchy. We both had a rash on our legs after night one and this continued during our stay. The room was quite dusty and the bathroom had marks all over the tiles of old shampoo. On our first night, my husband got a beer from the bar. The server unloaded and re-loaded the dishwasher and wiped all the surfaces before paying us any attention, even though we were the only people there. I asked for an Aperol Spritz and she said they could only do beer. She told us to pay at the main desk and didn’t come over to take our payment for almost ten minutes. Pretty good overall, but these stood out to us. "
