The property location is excellent for travelling to Strahan or Cradle Mountain. The room setup is simple but the condition is pretty clean. There are two gas stations which are conveniently located just a few blocks away.

The check in was difficult and delayed due to inexperienced staff. Due to a significant event in the town there was a large noisy congregation that made sleep difficult. An unfortunate alarm in a nearby room continued our discomfort by ringing regularly and repeatedly from 3 am until the early morning. The facilities were clean and adequate but the room itself was small and overpriced. To be fair though noise issues were not as a result of the management but they were kind enough to compensate us for the lack of sleep so we were very grateful for their consideration.

A basic room, but very clean and maintained. However, there was a problem with the shower having no facilities for putting in shampoo, soap, etc., and only one cake of soap was provided for a two-night stay. Also, we booked and paid for a deluxe, downstairs room, but were upstairs, which made it very difficult for my wife, who has mobility problems. The stairwell closest to the restaurant did not have a working light, which was a problem once the night arrived

The garden view was lovely, but would have liked to be able to pull back the light curtain to enjoy it. The bathroom needed an extractor fan.The bathroom stayed damp for the entire 3 days. Had to put a towel on the floor to prevent slipping over.
