We stayed in the Casona and were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation and beautiful views of Lake Arenal and the volcano from our room. Thanks especially to Howard and Daniel in the restaurant, and our morning walk with Cristian - you made our stay even more special! 」

「Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing 」

「The rooms were spacious, clean, tidy and beauitful. The housekeeper did an excellent job cleaning and tidying up. The whole property is gorgeous. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast lunch and dinner menus were spot on. The pool and jacuzzi are perfect. Cocktails were tasty. The yoga and spa were relaxing. The romantic dinner was excellent! The view - Arenal Volcano was majestic. And the plants - healthy, green and lush. 10/10」
