"We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed, and the hotel itself was well maintained. The location was excellent—close to everything, with restaurants, shops, and attractions all within easy walking distance. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place in a convenient location."

"What a beautiful place! We loved our stay. The grounds were amazing and we loved the privacy of our casita. The spa was amazing- highly recommend! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We’d definitely stay here again."

"The property itself was beautiful, and the staff was consistently friendly and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere—the sounds of frogs and birds created a relaxing setting. The food was good, and the service was great overall. Unfortunately, I did experience an issue with a leak in my room. Water was dripping from the ceiling onto my pillows and, at times, onto me during the night. When I reported it to the staff, I was told it was condensation from the AC unit. While I appreciated the explanation, I was disappointed that the issue was not resolved, as it continued to affect my comfort and sleep. Aside from that inconvenience, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the beauty and relaxing atmosphere of the property. I would just encourage future guests to report any room maintenance issues promptly and hope the hotel takes swift action to resolve them"

"Hotel was just outside of town which is convenient. Staff was wonderful. Had a room with hot tub on deck which was great. Grounds were beautiful. Food at restaurant was ok. There are many places in town that have better food. We tried a Soda on the main road. For 2 of us it was only $22 US dollars. Can’t beat that. Trevasia was a great place to eat dinner. Good food and affordable price. I will say this…It rained EVERY day. Couple days were pretty much a wash out. Torrential rains. Keep in mind yes it’s the rainy season. Weather is very unpredictable. One minute you look outside and it may be overcast or even sunny at times, then 10 minutes later…. BAM it’s pouring rain. We were able to hike around the volcano but not without it raining off and on. Took us about 6 hours. Well worth it though. We saw some animals and birds but be careful as some trails were muddy and slick. Do suggest a coffee/chocolate tour. Most will pick you up from hotel. I have been to La Fortuna in summer as well. I would recommend the summer season. We were here for 5 days but were only able to do a few things due to inclement weather."
