Nice town to - not overcrowded - plenty of choice of restaurants and the lake was nice.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had also some more selections in the hot food section, but what was the best were their coffee machines. Fresh beans get ground before each cup is brewed. Compared to Memorial District, the Museum District was up to par in terms of the art & area. Will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

WiFi didn’t seem to work, parking cost an additional $70 for an overnight stay. Wish that was communicated before hand. But very clean, peaceful, and convenient.

Zapata is a very unique place in Texas, it is very small town. The locals are very kind and helpful. We went while a fishing tournament was going on so the motel was a little busy but it was great.
It has changed so much in the last 15 years, so much new development very nice
