"We were surprised that this is rated as a five-star property. While the location is fantastic -right on the beach and in a quieter part of Sesimbra (at least during the carnival when we visited) -the maintenance left a lot to be desired.
The outdoor shower by the pool was out of service, with the wall around it partially demolished but no sign of work being carried out. The gym also had maintenance issues: one of the two treadmills was out of order, and the exercise bike was missing a pedal....
