"This hotel was a bit misleading in the photos online. We chose it more for location which was perfect. The area is safe and walkable with many dining options nearby. My only complaint about this hotel is that we had an early flight and got no sleep because the smoke detector flashes a bright light in your face all night and then every time the AC turned on and off there was a large grinding in the pipes. "We stayed here for 3 nights and we were very happy with the stay. The rooms were spacious including the bathroom. The rooms are tired looking but we werent bothered by that. The bed was comfy! "Hotel is on the 9th floor so it has an excellent rooftop view of the city and away from much of the noise of the city. Always someone on the first floor for security and help with luggage if needed. "Ok I've got mixed opinion this stay. I don't know what happened either Hotels.com or this hotel did over booking. So they moved me " A sister hotel" However the sister hotel was in very very bad state, didn't like sister hotel!!! Infront of my room dirty laundry was piling up! The room smelled bad too. I was really unhappy but at least they tried. Then They moved me to the original hotel I booked. Newly renovated rooms etc, But not enough plugs. I had to move a fridge myself to reach the plug...

"We stayed here the first few days we were in Cairo, went to Luxor and Aswan for eight days, then returned to Cairo for two more days before heading home. Our last two nights we stayed at the sister property, Pyramids View Inn, two doors down. While this one is older and a little more worn, we liked it better. It has more rooms with balcony views, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and they allowed us to store our luggage before heading to the airport on our last day, even though we were staying next door. We felt that our luggage was safer here and the prices for tours, car to the airport, etc were much better. I would definitely stay here again. It was a great value and waking up to see the pyramids and Sphinx from our balcony every day was very special."

Amazing hotel.

"The location of the hotel was good to go anywhere. In addition, the service of the hotel and its staff were so smooth and professional. For our anniversary, the hotel prepared one cute heart shape cake to welcome us and celebrate anniversary. It was very warm and kind welcome. On our last day, we had relaxed morning in the pool. The view from the pool was amazing and the pool was clean and nice. The staff was very kind and foods and snacks were very delicious. The staff at the entrance were very helpful when you need a uber ride as it is not easy for foreigner to identify the car with plate written in Arabic only. Very kind and professional. Thanks to the hotel and staff, we had wonderful three days! I strongly recommend this hotel. "

Perfect facilties, services and location

"Simply perfect! Every single staff member is friendly, accomodating and helpful. The hotel was very comfortable and quality of the service provided exceptional. Restaurant options are wonderful! I also highly recommend their breakfast - the buffet offers absolutely anything you'd need. The The gym is also very well equipped. The only point for the ladies is that I do not recommend the beauty salon in Beyman (attached to the hotel). The manicurist was rude, their nail polish collection does not seem to be of good quality and the hygiene was poor. "

"This is luxury defined. The room was well decorated, stocked with amenities, and clean. The many many staff are courteous, eager to help, and willing to try to solve any problem you present. The food is five star and the Lebanese cuisine at Aura is the best I’ve ever had. For a Westerner, the prices are somewhat low for restaurants and even a bit lower than average for a night in a comparable hotel. A dollar goes a long way here."

Great place!

"When our taxi driver couldn't find the exact location of the hotel two of the front service staff were already looking for us on the street. The whole time we were there we received amazing customer service! Breakfast was the best we had in Egypt. Great location, can be a bit noisy at night but that's normal for Cairo."
