"4 star price, 3 star standard
I stayed in a single room for one night.
Entrance and staircases: amazingly beautiful.
Room overall: clean and looks ok although very standard and quite boring interior. Big window with light-blocking curtains. No safe, kettle, coffee or tea in the room. No closet, but a drawer that I don't believe anyone uses except for putting their purse and phone on top of.
Bed: good mattress, two pillows. No extra pillow or blanket in the room.
Bathroom: clean and functional except for the shower where only the overhead rain shower works. The hand-held shower is blocked (twist the on/off handle one way - the overhead shower starts, but it's not possible to turn the handle the other way. Overhead shower never gives plus points since half the population does not want to wet their hair every time they shower. No hairdryer.
Staff: friendly and helpful.
Wifi: low/medium. You get a much better online experience via mobile network.
Breakfast: the hotel is strict about booking your breakfast slot. The number of choices were 3 star, the quality of what was served was 4 star.
Final verdict: although I enjoyed my stay, I don't feel that I really got my money's worth. If I come back to Ystad I will choose another hotel."
