Great location, simple rooms, affordable.

We’ve been a repeat guests for Sejong. Really appreciate the hotel’s cleanliness and amenities. The room was clean, even housekeeping did a good job when we requested for our bed to be made. The only thing that didn’t change is the worker’s union protest, that seems on-going even before covid. Fortunately, they didn’t bother hotel guests but get a bit crowded when the protest at the lobby though.

Everything was good except for the layout of the room. There was a huge support pillar that cuts into the middle of the room. As our bed was facing the pillar, we have to squeeze around it with our luggage.

Attentive, friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay, including complimentary umbrellas, the breakfast buffet had lots of variety and was refilled so that nothing ever ran out, and the room was comfortable with a great view over the Myeongdong area. The location was great for subway, tour pick-ups and access to night markets and the Namsan Park. The ability to store our luggage at the hotel with no cost after checkout to do some final sight-seeing was an added bonus and much appreciation as we flew out late evening.
