Great ryokan with lovely onsen. Water was very hot but relaxing. Half board banquet style meals were a lot of fun along with wearying the traditional Japanese clothing. Lots of selection and different kinds which was nice. Room was huge and the outdoor tub was lovely. Recommended for sure.

Nice new hotel with spacious room and nice bathroom. It is a block from the train station and bus terminal so it is easy to explore the regions such as Zao Onsen and Yamadera. The hotel restaurant is one of the best serving famous local beef and hotel guests have a decent discount. Highly recommended for visiting Yamagata.
