The hotel has welcoming vibes. Staff (front desk, restaurant, room service) were polite and approachable. I accidentally left my key card and credit card on the restaurant table during breakfast. Kudos to the team at Jambuluwuk for being so attentive, I returned to the hotel at night after a day of activities to find my cards deposited at the front desk. Overall the hotel is great and I would recommend travellers to stay here! If I have to include something to be improved for the hotel, it would be their room features (e.g. furniture, television, table, wash area are slightly dated).

This was a 5 star hotel, felt safe and well taken cared of, since my stay was when the Coronavirus outbreak the hotel took measures to ensure our safety by screening people at entrance and having sanitizer everywhere, I will for sure stay there on my next visit

The hotel staff were fantastic; everyone from the reception, bell boys and restaurant staff were great. However, the hotel is in need of a refurbishment/upgrade to be a 5 star hotel. All in all, I enjoyed my time there.

Decent service but old and not so clean room
The room is very spacious. However not very clean. And the rooms are a little too old. I booked 5 rooms, two of it has issues with the toilets and shower room. Yet, the service is good and bad. Good: One of the room has left item in room when check out. The hotel texted me immediately and allowed me to send our driver back to pick up from hotel and send it back to airport before we fly off. Bad: we had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food were served very slowly. In fact, one of my friends steak was only served after 1.5hours. The other friend waited for an hour for her food. We had to stay in the restaurant for 2-2.5hr to wait for everyone’s food to be served and finished. And no sincere apology and service recovery done after feedback. Can be improved in this area

Nice staff but little forgetful
This hotel is probably as good as you can get in Yoga Center.The staff are very friendly, the huge and varied breakfast buffet is little expensive by Indonesian standards but after you have had it is very good. The location is good and they offer lots of good travel advice. The rooms are nice and clean with good internet and shower,but have no view or balcony but that’s probably the norm here.The only problem we had was with airport pick up. After days of travel and jet lag we arranged the hotel pick us up 4 weeks beforehand and confirmed day before. They forgot us so the waiting around airport not knowing this was long. Airport tourist info helped us by calling and they couldn’t find our Expedia booking. Took a chance and hired a cab to take us there . They found our paid booking but not a hint of remourse. But when travelling all’s well that end’s well, I guess.

Good but not quite 5 star
If the hotel was 4 star I'd probably give it a higher rating but for 5 star I expected a little better. The room was big and comfortable and the bathroom was nice, however the shower wasn't great and there was no hair dryer. The room was cleaned every day and towels replaced which was great but the safe didn't work and they never sent anyone up to fix it after we'd asked. Breakfast is really nice and they've a large variety including a vegetarian/vegan section. The hotel is quite central and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go

Great place to stay in Yogyakarta
Reservations were easy. The hotel was excellent. Rooms were large, comfortable and very clean. Included breakfast buffet contained a large variety of both Asian and Western choices. The food was delicious and the staff was courteous and attentive. We arranged temple and sightseeing tours through the concierge. The price for an all day driver plus English speaking translator was very reasonable. At each temple site the translator arranged for an English speaking guide which was great for the larger sites. We also arranged for a Half day driver for local sightseeing (Sultain's palace and water castle) plus shopping. Our guide Heru went out of his way to find places where we could buy what we wanted at reasonable prices and his English was excellent.

Great location, nice pool (big bonus!), very friendly staff and a really nice breakfast. The towels need "an upgrase", looking rather grey so do the rugs in the room.

The so call upgraded to superior is a downgrade
The superior room air con is warm. When u put ur blanket on, you'll sweat. The minibar is warm. The tv display is back to 90s. We requested to change room after 5mins of check in but were told all full. After the 3rd night, we manage to get a deluxe room and no prob with the air con, tv, and minibar. Too bad it was our last night. The 3 night spent in superior room was disaster.

Hotel was rated 5 stars but when arrived it was more like a 3-4 stars. If we knew it was a 3-4 Star hotel we would have not have booked our stay. The hotel room is old and in need of a renovation the combination shower and bath is definitely not ideal for elderly guests, I had my parents stay in one of the rooms and making it difficult to access and they had to be cautious getting in out of the bath/shower. Carpet was old and stained, air conditioning could not be adjusted it was noisy and set at cold. Definitely not a 5 star hotel need to down ground to 4star.

It's really nice hotel and services except we were not happy when we were told the extra guest fee that we paid was not for extra bed. There's misunderstanding between the hotel and Expedia website.

Great location just a few minutes walk to Maliboro Street. Day tours can be arranged with the hotel staff. Beautiful pool and garden area to relax after a busy day. Provided 'take-away breakfast' for our early start on tours and to the airport.

We had a lovely stay here. Welcome drink upon arrival, only one room was ready but didn't have to wait long. Restaurant is geared more towards locals so was a but difficult to find things for the 8 year old to eat. We had an early departure and they made to go boxes for us but they "boiled" eggs hadn't been boiled, they were completely raw. All in all goid location, and the staff were very nice.

A new hotel with a swimming pool and live music.
The two rooms we had were bright and well furnished, although in one room someone had left a coffee stain on the carpet which was not removed. The fridge was not stocked but we had complimentary bottled water and makings of coffee and tea in the rooms. The breakfast was extensive from Japanese to exotic Indonesian rice dishes and desserts.We would vote the dinner menu as the better one compared to upmarket restaurants ones we tried. The band at the Batik Bar was lively, jazzy and with a singer to match. The staff was pleasing and efficient and the laundry service was prompt. A delightful hotel to rest.

actually this hotel is nice for family because it has nice swimming pool, but I got wrong booking, the hotel staff I only pay for room, not for breakfast, and I dont have this information from expedia before, so I felt inconvinience, because I think pay more than 600 ribu, for room only is quite expensive rate for this hotel.

Good rooms with friendly staff for a reasonable price. Don't bother with the spa tho. It's no good. They have their own tour packages for Borobudur-Merapi-Perambanan but keep in mind they would charge you more if it exceeds 8 hours
