「A warm welcome from the owners at the Dower House. What a lovely stay we had. Such a lovely hotel and grounds, with an outdoor pool too. The rooms are furnished to a high standard, with a comfortable bed,. A quiet location but only 2 miles into Lyme Regis. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.」

「Great stay for me and my family and two dogs - great location a short walk from Sidmouth front and beach. Friendly, helpful service throughout - particularly from young waitress at breakfast who was so cheery, pleasant and helpful. Really loved Sidmouth and this hotel.」

「We had an amazing stay as a family of 4 (6 year old and 3 year old). The hotel was in a great central location but still quiet in the evening. The room was clean and in great condition. The breakfast hamper provided each morning was wonderful and it was helpful having access to the shared kitchen. 「The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Our room and bathroom were very clean . Food served was great and atmosphere friendly. Our only issue was that the hotel is on a busy road and as the building is old it has sash windows with single glazing so road traffic noise was a problem to start with but that is something that cannot be helped. 」
