"Check-in was fairly smooth. The room was as advertised. Breakfast offered a good variety of options. Comparative to other places we’ve stayed the cleanliness was just ok, it was not the best I’ve ever seen, not the worst.
We did have concerns that a back access that was supposed to be room key protected was broken and was opening without the use of a key, That felt very unsafe.
The hot tub was not hot, the pool was not heated. When we asked about the temperature being adjusted, we were told...
"This hotel has the potential to be a great hotel. It's new and the decor is beautiful. However, the attention to detail is very bad. The lobby of the hotel was not dusted or vacuumed. The floor in the elevator never got mopped the entire time we were there. It was filthy. We used the guest laundry and the floor had not been swept or mopped for weeks. In our room, the middle of the floor was clean but the sides of the bathroom vanity were covered in dust bunnies and old towels.
Management...
"This hotel was very nice. Felt basically new. We enjoyed to views of pronghorn out our windows in the morning and evening. Also the pool has a panoramic view to the south and west which was great for watching the storms roll in. The only 2 negatives were that the toiletry dispensers were empty and even though we got to breakfast 30 minutes before the listed end time they were out of many items and said they didn't have supplies to restock (gravy but no biscuits for example)."
