「The property is very small (maximum of 6 guests), and is essentially a renovated old farmhouse. That’s what makes it so quaint and unique, plus it’s very quiet. The host is extremely friendly, and since it’s a B&B we had a really nice breakfast cooked for us in the morning. The only downside (thankfully we didn’t run into this issue) is that the two “standard” rooms share a bathroom. I feel like this should be stated VERY clearly and up front in the listing. I certainly don’t want to pay $100 ...

「This place was beautiful & the breakfasts we had were amazing! Only problem we had is our key unlocked the front door so anyone could get into our room, and there was no inside lock on our room or washroom, which was a bit uncomfortable for us.」

I’ve only stayed there for one night on a work trip, but I got to enjoy the outdoors with a coffee in the afternoon, an amazing home cooked breakfast and a lovely chat with the owner. The room was exactly as pictured, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was so cute! It’s a real bed and breakfast, you feel home and welcomed. A unique property that’s worth a stay!」

「Robert was an excellent Host and put so much detail, thought, and passion into everything about his B&B, from the furnishings, decorations and artwork, to the extra details of complimentary cookies, candy, fruit, drinks, and more, to the wide assortment of games, puzzles, and Amish-related books and guides he provided. And his gourmet plated breakfasts were delicious and way above expectations.」

「My wife and I had a great time staying at the Jackson House. The owners were so friendly, accommodating, the breakfast/cookies/coffee were fabulous. We look forward to our next trip here. The trail is right outside and a good excuse to get some steps in each day.」
