"Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely big clean room with a bath and a shower. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. Nice outdoor bar area to sit in when its good weather. Pool, sauna and spa were good but locker rooms were a bit of a let down with broken lockers. Some areas of hotel are showing some signs of wear and tear and need a touch up but the room, bar & restaurant areas were nice and in good condition. We enjoyed staying here and had a good time."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff at reception were so attentive and friendly, early checkin can be difficult with the hotel having a later checkout time but there is a luggage store you can leave your items in. Room was lovely, clean and had everything you needed, plenty of sockets, choices of lighting, cold waters in fridge, coffee machine, the rainfall shower was brilliant and the comfiest bed and pillows we’ve ever slept on. Aircon was also a lovely escape from the 34 degrees outside. Breakfast is cheaper if you book in advance and you get choice of cooked breakfast from the menu. Portion size not the biggest but quality ingredients used and also unlimited selection at buffet to fill you up. My only gripe (not a big one) i had was the smell of essences in reception was quite overpowering and as I was suffering with hayfever it got a bit much. It could also be an issue for anyone with sensory issues. However we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Liverpool and look forward to returning to this hotel in the future."
