「We were there as a base for 2 nights. We were upgraded as the site wasn’t busy. Steve, the Manager, was extremely friendly, and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be going again, and next time, for more than 2 nights.」

The owners were super helpful in terms of their communication ahead of our booking, as well as in answering all of our questions in the build up. The cooked breakfast in the morning was amazing and we really appreciated their friendliness and their suggestions for things to do in the nearby area. The entire house was very well kept and we would highly recommend staying here - thank you!」

「Good size and well equipped room. Most things newish and everything worked. It was very clean and the bed comfortable. One big issue stood out. The bathroom had no power socket (e.g. for shaver) and the sink/mirror area was in a small, dark, unlit alcove that prevented easy and convenient useuse」

「Clean room with bath overlooking cathedral. Room a little dated, but lots of great amenities. Central and great location. 」

「I had a good stay at the Castle Hotel. Lovely little hotel, super comfy bed and gorgeous bed linen. The room was spotless and generous tea and coffee making facilities. Nice bathroom products. No A/C as it's a beautiful old building, but that was fine as was able to open windows and control the radiator. I didn't have a cooked breakfast but buffet options were fine and the other guests seemed to be enjoying their cooked food. I will stay again, thank you.」

「 It seems that the staff are not used to greet guests good morning and the like. Also ,the restaurant is under renovation until end March, so reduced breakfast has to be served inside room. The environment outside the hotel is good,though, with many restaurants nearby.」

「離市中心一般，回酒店時要經過一條很斜很斜的路（Steep Hill），沒有自駕車極不便。 雖然有升降機到達3樓，但經濟房間那邊，仍然要經過約5至6級梯級，要搬運較重的行李箱極不便。 服務員，態度好。剛入住時，天氣非常熱，詢問要把風扇，第2天才有，已是幸運。」
