Friendly, welcoming pub with lodges

Really friendly & welcoming pub with lodges. Room was very comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely and we had dinner both nights, plenty of choice & reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Good place, good food, good price and great staff

Stayed 2 nights while visiting family in the area, found the Red Lion through an internet search, reviews were good and the price was reasonable, so we booked. Very happy we did, all the comments from the good reviews we found to be accurate. The only negative comment I could make is that, by necessity electric showers are fitted and they are a bit whimpish! You to run around to get wet

An amazing little hotel

I honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. The room was lovely and clean with superb attention to little touches. The staff were genuinely friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cost of the room. Seriously, this is a superb hotel to stay in :)

Away for golf trip. Staff excellent, rooms all appeared new so nice and comfortable. Breakfast really good. Next time I’m in the area and need a room I’ll go again

Excellent Hosts…

I will definitely be back at the Red Lion when I’m next in the area, it’s a lovely pub and the rooms which are located just across the car park are excellent. They’re clean, comfy and small touches like crisps and biscuits top off a lovely place. The hosts are very nice and they’re very welcoming within the pub aswell which serves outstanding food.

Cracking stay

A totally relaxing experience from arrival to departure. We stayed for 2 nights in November and enjoyed every moment. The food and service was fantastic. John and his staff made us feel like locals with terrific banter. He even let me win at darts (lol). I will definitely stay there again whenever I am in the Lincoln area.

Excellent 2 night stay!

Excellent stay at the Red Lion. John, the landlord, is a lovely bloke and nothing was too much trouble for him. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely. The room was airy, bright and warm. Very comfortable. Lovely big shower room with fluffy towels and nice toiletries. Had a couple of pints in the pub on the evenings-definitely a pub you’d want as your local. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed one night at this. Very attractive rural hotel in Lincolnshire. The rooms were located in the grounds of the pub. Across a parking area from you the pub terrace. Our room was spacious and well equipped with a walk in wet room designed to accommodate disabled visitors. The pub was atypical of a rural pub with reasonably priced drinks. The restaurant was not open owing to staff illness albeit we were given choices of pubs restaurants nearby for evening meals. The licence was very pleasant and clearly made every effort to provide a high level of customer service. Overall a very pleasant experience
