「The bathroom was in a poor start of repair. The side bath panel was water damaged and obviously been treated and then left Showing further damage and falling apart. The bathroom mirror required changing with various black marks across it. The thermostatic controls were really stiff and couldn’t be fully used for both hot and cold. The markings for hot and cold faded and difficult to establish which way to turn. The bath had various stains around the plug hole and bath and certainly...

「My favourite East Anglian hotel - recently refurbished, just as friendly and welcoming. As usual there were all sorts here, it's a proper 'local' - good food, good beer, good cheer! Lots of interesting opinions - all topical issues covered and easily overheard. The bar has two tellies now, and I enjoyed watching the end of an ODI (Sri Lanka won), and then some Happy Valley with mein hosts. I thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here (as long as you can do stairs), it's reasonably priced, the...

「I did arrive at 9.15pm but had messaged ahead to say I would be late. No staff were on site the number I called brought a very helpful young chap from his home to let me in. The bar was closed so no refreshments. When I awoke next morning the hotel was pretty much locked no staff on site and no breakfast as I exited at 8.45. The hotel itself is nice and the chap that came to let me in was very pleasant but a hotel with no staff on site is poor in my book.」
