"We normally stay here on our travels. We arrive late and leave early. Essentially making this a place to sleep. This time we were able to use the pool and bath/shower. The pool was alright.. A little too much chlorine(our eyes were burning after about 15 minutes). I was able to have a shower after and was left a little disappointed with the water pressure and the quality of the complementary "

"The person who checked us in was very curt. Couldn’t get the tv to work. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed. A light bulb over the sink was out, which isn’t a big deal, but in the morning the smoke alarm was dangling from the ceiling in front of the light fixture. Couldn’t tell if anything had been cleaned. Bed was not made nice. Surfaces were sticky. There were no shampoos, just bar soap. A room for four people was supplied with two small towels (not hand towels, they were just really small). The clerk on the morning was nice however. Will never go back, would not recommend."

"The building had holes in the roof. Most of the room windows were all open and we figure out why when we walked into the lobby.. you were hit with a huge cloud of cigarette odor caught which worsened when the lobby clerk came out. I felt weird signing a form to say that I would not be smoking in my room. There was a massive chemical smell in our room smelt like they were trying to get rid of cigarette odor. The window was wide open, so it was cold. The floors were so sticky. We made sure we washed our feet the next morning before you put her socks and shoes on to leave."

"This is a boutique hotel in an old historic building. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. I would have appreciated a Keurig or Nespresso machine in the room. There was one provided, the floor above us but we were not made aware of it until the end of our stay. It was not mentioned on the hotel information sheet. Also, the building is old so also drafty. An extra blanket in the room would have been nice. The speakeasy in the basement was fun!"
