「The lady at the front desk was wonderful. Very kind and helpful. The room, however, had several strands of long brown hair (I have 1 inch long brown hair lol) and was generally unclean. Breakfast the next day was not out anywhere near the 6.a.m time (I was there at 6:30), and the lady who I assumed was responsible for breakfast that morning was passed out on the couch in the lobby. 」

「We had a really disappointing experience with Powhatan Motel. After driving 16 hours on a long road trip, we arrived around 3am expecting to check in, since the motel clearly advertises a 24-hour front desk and check-in availability after 4pm. Unfortunately, that was not the case. There was no one available at the front desk, no way to check in, and no communication whatsoever from the property. There was $hit smeared all over the public restroom in the lobby and when we asked if there was another restroom the kids could use and explained the situation the girl at the desk simply said NO thats thebonlynone we have and showed no concern for the cleanliness/ public health hazard of their hotel」
