「Classic old school motel experience. large rooms with kitchenettes, vaulted ceilings, yet enough vintage "vibe" to make the stay unique. Best feature is the large jacuzzi amidst the lovely manicured courtyard, perfect for stargazing. Great amenable host who looks after each guest personally. A welcome reprieve from the Airbnb "same town" experience so much of Joshua Tree has become. Can't wait to stay here again!」

「Except we were email/ call 3 times with 24 hours before check-in (I couldn’t help but guessed it was due to they had nobody working after 9pm), everything was beating expectation. Room was decent. Service was excellent - TV remote was available (for our device to connect to hdmi) the minute we asked ; room was cleaned, bed were made, towel replaced, bathroom was cleaned, garbage was cleared daily - which was not the case in most of the motel. We were so excited to bbq in motel public area...
