"This is an older property that is dated but very clean and comfortable. It's not fancy. The room was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The shower worked well. The towels and bedding were clean and fresh."

"The staff was very friendly and there are three options for dining at the hotel. The Tugboat Inn is a great location to walk around Boothbay, visit stores, see great art work or go for a charted boat ride. The parking is free on site and it is a very safe area. "

"We had a water view with balcony and it was just perfect. The hotel is older but in good shape. Easy self parking and no need to drive again until check out. Plenty of shopping and dining options within walking distance. Would recommend. "

"Beautiful place to stay! From the front it doesn’t look like much but once you get to the views in the back yard you won’t be disappointed! They couldn’t offer early check in which is fine but they let us leave a vehicle in the parking lot so we could go into town before check in! The pool was warm with a gorgeous view of the bay but it could use cleaning or a vacuum. The room was pretty and clean. I love that every room had 2 Adirondack chairs outside to enjoy the view with a cup of coffee in the morning! The fire pit had wood, paper, and kindling ready to go, we just needed to go to the front desk for a lighter. We didn’t have a dog but we saw a lot of guests with them and the property was very dog friendly! The restaurant was closed on the night of my stay so I can’t review. But the breakfast in the morning had a lot of options and was tasty. Will definitely coming back, hopefully for more than one night and with the whole family this time! There’s a whole lot to do on the property with kayaks and SUPs, the pool, and the fire pit "
