Sandman Inn Blue River

"This was our 2nd stay. I chose the Sandman in Blue River, because its half way between Edmonton and home. It is very clean and cozy, room was large enough and I highly appreciate the option to psrk right by the room, it makes for very easy unpacking and packing. There is lots of free parking, and easy access to Yellowhead highway, although we didnt hear any noises. Staff very attentive and kind. Blue River is a cute little town, the gas station is very well stocked. Unlike last year, there were almost no mosquitoes this time"

"Beautiful spot. Dog friendly and so was the patio of the restaurant so that was nice to enjoy dinner. The lodge right across the way has lake access. Nice warm lake to swim in and on the other side of the lake is public access with a sandy beach and nice dock to swim to. Quite little town. Room was clean and just what we needed after backpacking."

"Had far more kitchen amenities than I was expecting. Everything a person could need to make a meal - induction plate, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, coffee pot, kettle and all sorts of pots pans and bowls. The only thing that was awkward is that you had to use the bathroom to get running water for the dishes. Overall good value for the price"

"The room had recently been partially renovated, the room was as clean, the staff were really helpful and nice. There was a nice view from the rear side. The balcony is one huge connecting balcony as it is at the front also. Breakfast is at the golf centre down the road, very helpful staff offering to cook us an omlette etc"
