Staying at the Alexander Mansion felt like stepping back in time to an era of elegance and warmth. Every piece of furniture and every lamp tells a story—but what truly made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality of the 80-something host, a former chef, who graciously prepared a beautiful and heartfelt breakfast ceremony for us. His kindness and attention to detail gave our journey a sense of home and heartfelt care. Thank you for not only providing a charming place to stay, but for making every guest feel seen, welcomed, and cherished. This will remain one of the warmest memories of my travels. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking quiet, history, and genuine hospitality. It’s more than just a B&B—it’s a soul-soothing experience.

The owner/innkeeper was lovely! A very nice host and the property is absolutely gorgeous! Truly a dream! Each room is decorated beautifully in time-accurate furnishings and feels very homey. The breakfast was delicious as well, curated and cooked by the host himself. A wonderful evening/stay for my partner and I.

We had an excellent stay at the Alexander Mansion. Richard knows the rich history of the property and shares it with his guests. Alexander Mansion is an amazing place. Stepping back in time to an era of elegance and comfort. Richard, who owns and runs the property, provided an experience that far exceeded any expectations.
