This cool old classic motel was fun, with great colors on the walls. The rooms are not very soundproof, but are clean and well-stocked of basic amenities. The lighting outside the rooms is TOO BRIGHT and shines all night, unfortunately. Even with curtains drawn, that was a downside for us, but not a deterrent. I would stay there again. It is walking distance to my absolute FAVORITE breakfast/brunch place, The Griddle! Thank you to the sweet staff of the motel.

Very basic old-school motel with cosmetic upgrades. Will be somewhat better when renovations finished. As current: Check-in office tiny, sparse. Must call for host. Parking striping ambiguous, likely car parked next to you will block your vehicle door, one or multiple. Noisy - the main street is used by locals as a drag strip. No breakfast. Rooms minimal. Pet friendly, but no place to walk your dog - just concrete, rocks and asphalt everywhere.

Tv didn’t work. Area was loud. I ice maker. Pool was closed and staff didn’t know anything. When I asked if they had an icemaker or a good place to eat or direction somewhere, she didn’t know anything about the area.

I booked two rooms: one with a queen bed on the first floor and one with two beds on the second floor. We received the two queen beds on the first floor and one bed on the second floor. The clerk was too busy and didn't want to figure it out. My husband and I needed the first floor as we requested because his mobility prevents him from going up the stairs.
