"Stayed just for one night on a business trip stop. The hotel is apparently having some construction done so the lobby elevator was closed off and some things seemed a little messy (hallway taped off, elevator was all scuffed up). So nothing super fancy but the room was clean tidy with comfortable with everything needed for a good night's rest, shower and quick breakfast. (Full sized waffle griddles- a nice surprise!) Affordable stay, fit the bill."

"The bed at this hotel was very comfortable. If I could replicate the mattress for my bed at home I would!! It was Sunday morning and very crowded downstairs in the breakfast area. It appeared that there was only one staff member working, and she was working very hard to replenish things (scrambled eggs, bacon, coffee, hot water) as needed. But she could barely keep up with the demand. A second staff member to work the breakfast would be helpful."

"Nice environment next to beautiful river, this area of Connecticut is amazing. Rooms are nice, clean, private enough. Stay here 4-5 times overnight during the summer. Would suggest you to consider it as well!"
