The property was extremely dirty, every piece of kitchenware, cutlery, and glassware had to be washed before use. Room and bed very comfy. Bistro had good quality and good range of food. Location is wonderful. American River is a sleepy little town and good location to see the rest of Kangaroo Island.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was large and very clean and had a great view of the ocean. Very close to the ferry, car rental company and grocery store. The staff offered suggestions on places to see kangaroos, which helped.
