Lovely renovated historic hotel right on the ocean in Pietermaai district of Willemstad. It was in a quieter area only 1 street over from great bars and restaurants. Our room overlooked the ocean, and there was a small private beach with lounge chairs. The staff was amazing, and helped us with airport taxi and recommendations in the area. Short walking distance (10 min) to the heart of Punda and 15 min to the floating bridge.

We just completed our stay. Things we liked was the proximity to Willemstead. The room was nicely decorated with the old school shutters. Some did not close as the latches were broken. We placed towels and face clothes between the glass and the shutters to jam them closed for privacy. Things we didn’t like. The rooms were definitely not sound proof. There’s a bar right beside the hotel which has live music every Saturday and Thursday. The Thursday is insane. The room does provide ear plugs which did not work. You can guarantee a sleepless night that night. Saturdays are not as loud. But the bar noise often carry’s into the early morning hours. The room we had the, bed was not level ( we had to sleep the opposite way) to ensure you did not wake up with a neck cramp from your head being smushed with the wall. The pillows are not great. The room comes with two pillows and we asked for a third and they did not have one. I naively would expect most hotels to have anb ice machine. This one does not. That’s neither a pro or con just fyi. It mentions parking is available close by. That would be street parking which can be challenging to obtain. Otherwise it’s paid street parking. Only one of the sites is oceanfront. The other you need to walk two blocks. Again just an fyi. I would recommend this hotel to people who would be going to the bars till late hours as the night noise would likely not bother you. But the almost daily early morning garbage collection may.

The ocean view was wonderful but don’t be confused when booking the Ocean Front room because the ocean is not right outside your room. It is however out back of the property with a small sitting area. Pool was always full of sand and smaller than a kiddie pool you can barely stretch your legs. You can hear entire conversations of other guest along with them using the restrooms. My room smelled of Sewage the entire stay (We checked out and booked another hotel). Maintenance thought that filling the drains with bleach and other chemicals would take care of that but it didn’t it made the situation worst because now we’re inhaling chemicals. Did I mention there was no window or balcony to let fresh air in? Overall the staff were very friendly and the property is within walking distance to local food and shops. I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it. I would never stay again but if you are looking for something decent on a budget it might work for you. Parking is trash by the way. Good Luck!

Wynwood @Sea was amazing !! Our queen ocean front room was small but clean & pretty. The private beach was so nice because after a long day out & about to come back & just relax was great. Who doesn't love to hear the waves crashing with a cold drink in your hand at the end of the day. Kimmie and the girls were the best !! We had an issue renting our car at the airport & the following morning Kimmie arranged a car for us and it was brought to the property. Thanks Kimmie ❤️. The location was great, totally walkable to town and local restaurants. We couldn't have had a better vacation! We loved this property. Expedia also came through for us with the botched rental car , we've never had a problem traveling before and it was reassuring knowing that They were there for us and took care of it. Great vacation all around !!

The room was very clean, bed super comfortable and an amazing location. Walkable to all the site seeing spots in Wilmsted. “Beach” is unswimable but there is a very small “pool” to cool off in. Would be nice if there was some shade at the beach.

Staff extremely courteous and helpful! Seaview was nice, however extremely small, traveling solo, cant imagine how it would ever accommodate 2 people! Literally one shelf maybe 3ft x12" to store yr clothes, with some hangers! Washroom very nice, sunset views amazing, great location! Housekeeping I felt lacked. Towels not always replaced, dirty and used coffee cups also not cleaned or replaced! Empty wine bottles bought in the hotel were not removed. Night tables with coffee spills not wiped down! Beds not really made but a blanket pulled up to cover the unmade bed! Beds were comfortable! Overall a 3star experience! Unsure how it achieved 5 star reviews, probably based on location and view!

Room was clean, staff walked me a block to the hotel as I initially arrived at other properties. Easily handled requests for extra blanket and snack vai WhatsApp. Answered questions about parking and sent map deliniating paid/free parking areas.

The room at the Wynwood Boutique was clean, AC was very welcomed, and location was amazing! The staff were very helpful and checked in with us. The negatives are minor, but could be an issue for some. The narrow spiral staircase was difficult to drag luggage up and you had to be very careful on them. The bed was comfy but the pillows were terrible! We requested additional pillows, but they were also just fair. If you wanted centrally located hotel in Willemstad, this would be an excellent choice if you’re ok with stairs and the pillows! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
