this was our 2nd visit and we enjoyed the location in Pietermaai, this time we had a room with city view, which was a bit more noisy with the traffic then we thought. beach side is nice, pool and ocean for a swim.

Amazing staff, super friendly and made us feel very welcome. They helped us plan a birthday surprise, had great dining suggestions, and were even able to facilitate us renting a car for a few days. The property was enjoyable and its proximity to everything was very convenient. Can’t wait to come back!

I wanted to take a moment to share my delightful experience at Scuba Lodge City Beach. The location is truly ideal, being close to the airport and within walking distance to various shops, restaurants, and museums, making it easy to explore the area. From the moment I arrived, the staff was exceptionally kind and friendly, ensuring that my stay was memorable. A particularly special highlight was the surprise bottle of champagne they arranged for my 60th birthday. It made my celebration even more unforgettable! I can confidently say that Scuba Lodge City Beach is a wonderful place to stay, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Cute place walkable to Punda. Staff was ok. We definitely didn't get the overly friendly, helpful staff others mentioned. We arrived with 2 family members who had also booked a stay so we could vacation together, upon arrival they were told their was no room available for them and they were being moved several buildings down to a completely different hotel. They knew we had all planned to stay at the hotel together so they brought us over to the other hotel for a tour to see if we would like to stay there with our family. Once that was over we were told they would not move us to the sister hotel unless we paid a $2500 upcharge which was completely outrageous and they wouldn't even discuss any type of discount. So we spent our family vacation in 2 separate hotels. Definitely won't be returning

The property is right on the ocean. They have a small beach, infinity pool, WiFi. It is reasonably priced, Breakfast was good. My only real complaint was the entertainment. No streaming channels like Netflix or HBO. The tv channels were also quite limited. There is a small playground for little ones but no gym. Great location though, a lot of restaurants nearby. Great views from their restaurant.
