「This hotel is outside the city of Lucerne but only 20 minutes away. It is nice and peaceful, which was our preference. The Mt. Pilatus train station in Alpnachstadt is just a few minutes away. We got to enjoy both sunset and sunrise from our balcony. The staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and uniquely charming but with modern conveniences. The restaurant served excellent local favorite dishes. We look forward to another stay in the coming years. 」

「Though it is not located in the center of the main tourist sites, it is not far away from it. If you drive, it only takes 10 mins to get you to the heart of Lucerne. Plenty of free carparking lots are provided. Good scenic view as well. 」

「Absolutely stunning views from room and restaurant. I stayed in the Naturhus, and my room was a little dated, but I was there for the lovely balcony overlooking the lake. If you want a more updated room, choose one in the main building. 」

「We had a great stay at this hotel, especially the bar staff was wonderful. The food was also very good, we enjoyed sitting on the front porch relaxing, enjoying a drink and dinner. Beautiful area, walking distance to the esplanade is a just across the street. This hotel is just out of the busy tourist area which we loved. 「Bellevue Hotel is great! It’s almost the oldest hotel in Engelberg, but the hotel is very unique, stylish and clean. Very European style. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The most amazing part is the view from the balcony, love it!」

「Outstanding place to stay. Just a few minutes drive to Interlaken but we were right on the lake. Stunning views and so peaceful. Set in a quaint village. Very comfortable and clean. Great friendly staff. Would definitely come back again and highly recommend. Great value for money. 」

「An incredibly charming, and a well maintained historic hotel. Staff was really nice, and the breakfast (with that view) was something I looked forward to everyday.
