Great view, but no usual facilities

The place has a great view of the ocean, but the rooms are disappointing for the price you pay as there are none of the regular items you'd expect, such as a microwave or ice trays. There is a notice in the room that all kitchen items have been removed due to fire hazards, but all the other places we went to simply upgraded to improve their safety and still provide guest with the needed items. Though a decent sized TV was int he room, the hotel selected a poor satellite provider that's difficult to use and just doesnt' match up to the DSTV we had access to in other places. And most frustrating thing was the Wi-Fi, which cannot be reached in the rooms whatsoever, not even from the balcony. At the prices they charge, you'd at least expect the place to install an extender to improve connectivity. Travelers from SA wouldn't have a problem, but I was travelling from someone who stayed in the UK, who didn't bother getting a different SIM card as all the placed we booked had Wi-Fi. Other than that the place was comfortable. The bathroom isn't great as there is no space to put anything, and if you leave a town or clothes on the toilet, you cant access them after showering as the door blocks it completely.

Edge of the sea.

Edge of the sea amazing interrupted views for days. Clean rooms. The only place to stay in wilderness. Best-view rooms either 1 or 5.

Edge of the sea hideaway.

My second stay here. The place is the last building on the road built on a cliff edge with uninterrupted amazing views! Rooms are well appointed and clean. My only choice when visiting this area. A true gem.

Great view, nice room although not the biggest fan about the minimal privacy for the toilet. Although there is wifi there was no signal so no internet access while we stayed there which was tough. Close to the beach which was beautiful and the owners were wonderful hosts with great breakfast included.

This was the gem of our two week trip to South Africa! Stay now before lovely Sonia and Newton realize what a bargain they're giving everyone and raise their prices to what they easily could be! Our room included a sofa pointed towards the ocean-- at sunset, we could open up the full wall of glass doors, so we had unobstructed views of the ocean, the sky, and the "wilderness" nearby. The hosts were so lovely and helpful. I really would like to come back here.

Nicht empfehlenswert!

Wir haben das Wilderness Beach Resort auf unserem Garden Route Trip gewählt und mussten mit erschrecken feststellen das die Bewertungen wahrscheinlich gefaked sind. Das einzige was man an dem Resort für gut befinden kann ist die Aussicht. Der Rest wie Service, Essen, Zimmer und Sauberkeit sind für den Zimmerpreis nicht akzeptabel. Auch das Management ist meines Erachtens unakzeptabel und kann mit Kritik von Gästen nicht umgehen. Wir haben Expedia schon angeschrieben und gebeten das Hotel aus dem Angebot zu nehmen damit nicht noch weitere Gäste darauf reinfallen. Wir haben auf unserem Garden Route Trip viele B&B besucht und alle waren wirklich super aber dieses Resort hat uns einen Tag Ärger gekostet. Auch wenn die Bilder auf deren Internetseite viel versprechender ausschauen die Wirklichkeit sieht anders aus. Bitte nehmt meinen Stellungnahme ernst und sucht nach einem anderen B&B in Wilderness.

Clean, comfy, amazing views!!

The B&B managers are amazing. We arrived on Christmas day, no restaurants open they offered to make us a hot supper. Property views are amazing. Breakfast was wonderful. All around great experience, mostly due to the friendly staff!!
