「Easy to get to. Great breakfast with lots of variety. Swimming pool was great in the heat.」

「The staff were friendly and we liked the little kitchenette. The hallway flours and elevators were always stained and dirty. I never saw them being washed in the 6 days we weee there. The toaster machine didn’t work and the yogurt machine was off and on. Biscuits, even they had them were good.」

「People calling the front desk ended up calling our room. We were in 301. We received 4 phone calls. One call was nasty—a guy complaining about noise and was ready to cause a big stir if the problem wasn’t corrected. When talking to the front desk about the problem we didn’t get any help. Please correct your telephone system. Basically when people press the front desk button, they are directed to 301.」

「The loud music and kids running until 11:00pm. We are baseball family and am understanding to an extent but this was as bad as I’ve experienced. Staff was nice but limited and no one was telling these kids to stop or enforcing. Everything else was good, but limited sleep always put a bad taste in our mouth on the experience.」

「Very clean and nice staff. Queen beds were a little uncomfortable but overall was one of the best Marriott’s I’ve stayed at.」

「During the night right after we retired (around 12 or 12:30 pm) several individuals were on the sidewalk right next to our unit #101 Efficiency King. They were talking very loud (sometimes shouting) and had rap music playing loudly. (It sounded like they were in the next room of OUR suite! After listening to it for over an hour, we called the front desk to complain. It took 2 calls to the desk and over an hour before they were quiet. The breakfast was also very disappointing!」

「The room was fine, a place to sleep but the carpet felt wet and sticky and there were staples sticking through; also, there was virtually NO water pressure so washing hands and showering was challenging. The Stagg were friendly and there was a wide variety of options served at breakfast.」

「The hotel was recently built (less than 5 years) and things are pretty new. It’s about 10 minutes driving distance from downtown Iowa City. There are shopping mall and tons of restaurants near the hotel. Staff are very friendly.」

「Love the restaurant!!! The guacamole was amazing! The ribs were the best!!!!! The hotel bed was great! The shower was narrow and I bumped my elbow and I’m not a big person.」
