"I actually had difficulty figuring out how to get into this hotel because the main entrance is down a hill and around in back, not very comforting in the dark. In my opinion Whitehall is an interesting community. With quaint looking shops, as well as some nationally known companies.

Playhouse at White Lake is terrific since its renovation, and the performance of "Escanaba in da Moonlight" was so well-done. My experience of Michigan-ers (-ites? -arians?) is that they are friendly and cheerful, generous and helpful.
