"I’ve been coming to Kohl’s Ranch Lodge for the past 10 years, and this stay reminded me why I keep coming back—if anything, it’s better than ever. First and foremost, the front desk staff truly made this experience exceptional. Mark, Jen, and Angie went above and beyond. As a solo traveler, that kind of genuine kindness and attentiveness makes all the difference. They were helpful, thoughtful, and made me feel completely comfortable and welcomed. The property itself is just beautiful—peaceful, serene, and surrounded by nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect. There are scenic walking areas, and the nearby creek is a huge bonus if you enjoy fishing for trout or just relaxing by the water. I’ve stayed in both the cabins and the regular rooms over the years, and this time I chose a standard room—and it was still absolutely wonderful. The fireplace adds such a cozy touch and really elevates the whole experience. The views alone are enough to make you stop and appreciate where you are. It’s one of those places that naturally makes you feel grateful. I can’t recommend this place enough and will absolutely continue coming back."
