What a great little find. A piece of paradise. We only stayed one night, but we will be back for more. We met the kindest people, and enjoyed nature, and relaxation. The place is simple, yet very clean, comfortable, and inviting. We loved our experience, and can't wait to come back again.

There was no option for any kind of ventilation, only the AC unit which blew loudly into the room. We opened the outside patio door at the risk of letting in unwanted guests. My suggestion would be to at least install a screen door to enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Friendly staff, lots of activities to do, beautiful setting. Not a fan of check-in after 4pm and check-out by 10am.

This place was super cute & very clean. We got the studio with a full kitchen & everything we would need to cookwith a semi private picnics table patio in the back facing the mountain & a walkway balcony entrance facing the private drive way to the four new units & then the creek. The balcony had two wooden Adirondack chairs to enjoy our morning coffee & evening drinks. we even ate dinner there. the creeks water was too low to see from our balcony, but we could see the pretty trees & embankment surrounding the creek. our new units were away from the noise of the rest of the facility, on the other side of the creek creek & separated by the private drive but still a short 3 minute walk to cross the creek to get to the main facility. these new units are very close to the larger road & you can hear the noise from that road, but it was worth it to have the increased privacy near the creek. we escaped the Phoenix heat during the hottest days of summer & it was still in the upper 80s in the heat of the day, but we had nice mornings.

The cabin was clean, rustic, and cute. Wonderful deck facing the creek with a real mountain cabin feel. Grounds are very clean, food and drinks at the restaurant exceeded expectations. A good little Arizona retreat!

The property is welcoming. Staff were accommodating and helpful. There is an instant feeling of relaxation and peace. Sitting on a deck, listening the a creek, the smell of the pines, all a perfect antidote the the heat and rush of Phoenix.

Love the atmosphere here and beautiful property. Great amenities although it would be nice if the restaurant was open while we were there (on Monday). Even a limited menu or a breakfast bar but we dealt with it and thankful for the nice size fridge & microwave. We'll be back! (Maybe not on a Monday though :) )

Cons: restaurant was closed Mon thru Thursday even though there are no other restaurants within 10 miles so no breakfast. Charged a $20 resort fee for a pool and small gym. Pros: each room had a small balcony. Room was clean with all the expected accessories. Bed was comfortable.

A unique historic property in a beautiful quiet setting. Enjoyed Zane Grey BBQ. Of course Hilton properties always deliver on bed comfort. Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff!
