"The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. "Gym very small. Used the spa the first evening with no cost, the following morning when I went to use it after gym was told it was £30 per person. When speaking with reception they said it is because it is new and it is on the website, I have checked website and it is in very small print when you are looking for it. I understand the payment however think that the hotel should inform you upon check in that there is a cost instead of finding out when you go to use the facilities. I also had a food credit automatically from Expedia however again was not informed of this and hadn’t realised until I received an email when I had left. When checking out and speaking to reception to say I was disappointed re the cost of spa and no info, there was no apology just simply it tells you on the website, not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. It was a reasonable stay and rooms clean and comfortable, however when trying to order room service qr code say 5050, this was constantly engaged so ended up just calling reception."
