「The breakfast buffet was acceptable considering the price for the room - the staff are very courteous helpful, the shuttles run on time. The lounge/bar is a good place to relax after a long flight and the surroundings and eco garden are a pleasant surprise in an otherwise very busy area. Ideal as a stop over before an early flight or overnight after a late arrival!! 」

「An absolute gem of a hotel right in the heart of the "old town" area near Kloof Street. Beautiful colonial style design with fantastic local artwork throughout, amazing (cool) pool, honesty bar, secure on street parking (security watchmen at all times) and the most amazing helpful staff I've ever had at a hotel - emails and information on things to do, restaurants etc was outstanding. A really brilliant hotel in every way!」

「We enjoyed our stay until check out time. We paid for bed and breakfast and requested for breakfast upon check out as we had an early morning flight. Filled in the form but there was no breakfast to take away. The receptionist was confused and took our details and promised communication. Until date no communication.They could atleast have communicated or refunded our breakfast. Apart from this the place is amazing and its very convenient.」

「Basically staying in SA safety is a concern, i had a very bad experience in my last visit of SA in the other hotel. City lodge is quite good about this, the employee is good. One complaint is the view, i didn't get the mountain view this time.」

Das ganze Anwesen war wunderschön, jede einzelne Person unfassbar hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. An Freundlichkeit kaum zu überbieten. Ein hervorragend bequemes Bett, ein wunderschöner Garten und sehr leckerer Wein runden diese Erfahrung ab. Ganz zu schweigen vom unfassbar guten Essen! 「I liked the location of this hotel, although I had hoped it would be closer to the waterfront. The view was lovely out our 4th floor balcony though! The employee at the front desk during the day (Asi, I believe) was very kind and extremely helpful. He was able to answer all our questions and even helped us make some reservations for some amazing meals. Thank you, sir! 」
