「We loved our time with Louise at Doolan's!!! It is about 15 minutes outside of Rotorua (far from any sulphur smell!). Louise made DELICIOUS breakfasts each morning and the common living area is very spacious with fabulous view. Our room was small, but completely adequate because of the large living space. The bed was quite comfy. The grounds are lovely!!! Louise was a delightful host.」

「This is a very perfect mansion which is both classic and modern. I’m surprised that even the towels are put on a heating rack. We love the food a lot, both dinner and breakfast. Fresh ingredients and nicely cooked by the host! Host is very nice and introduced us to sheep feeding. Thanks for lending us a HDMI cable as well since our laptop’s monitor is not functioning well and we need to connect it to the TV.」
