"I was charged twice and lied about it. I had already paid thru Expedia. One day during my stay my room was not serviced. I left my room at around 2:00pm and I saw the housekeeper still cleaning rooms in my floor. Came back to the room at 8:30pm and the room had not been serviced. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. "

"We were coming from Westchester and had an early flight so decided to stay in a hotel the night before. Took the train to JFK and called the shuttle which arrived 10 minutes later. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Quick uber drive to casino. I asked for two wake up calls at 4:50am and 5am and received both. Shuttle left for the airport promptly at 5:30am. Overall a very good experience for an overnight airport stay."

"I was disappointed with my stay. For a 4-star hotel, the room was very run down—peeling mirror and wallpaper, a stain on the bedspread. There was also construction outside the hotel that continued past midnight. I booked a king room but received a room with two double beds. I couldn’t reach the front desk when I needed help, and no one asked about my stay at checkout. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The Lombardy is a residential hotel. Therefore all the rooms are different. Some are really nice and others are super dated. Be sure to ask for a modern room! The staff is really lovely. The location can not be beat if you are looking for midtown east convenience. I would absolutely go back! "

The building itself, however, was under complete renovations, amenities including the restaurant were closed, one only working elevator and construction noise was all over the place. Guests needed to be informed at the time of reservation."

"The room was large enough for an overnight stay at a reasonable price. Staff were very helpful and helped with any problems. The hotel is situated close to Grand Central station which is useful for getting to and from JK airport. Various places are close by for meals etc. "
