「Meal was lovely, unfortunately no breakfast, or suggestions where to go. Room great,lots of lights, room, comfortable and great clean bedding. Nice big mirror in the bedroom too. Towels nice white and fluffy. Only negative is the noice from the road through the night, could do with improved glazing as it’s a main route for trucks 」
「This was an an enjoyable experience, particular for a sole traveller. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the proprietors were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast (which was very good food) was an enjoyable social experience meeting other guests that you do not tend to get with staying at a larger chain hotel. Very relaxing and quiet rural location, easy for getting out and visiting Ely or Cambridge. 」

Breakfast was good, which prepared by the owner. The location was near Cambridge, but just a bit far from the coach station, for me, the distance was acceptable. The hotel is recommenced.」
「We were on a 3 week tour of England researching our family roots and history. We were purposely looking for stays in smaller villages/towns. This fit the bill perfectly. Our bedroom was comfortable, the shower hot and the food delicious. The staff couldn’t have been nicer - my wife even felt like maybe we had found long lost family. 」

Hotel is in a super location on the bridge with views of the river and just a short walk to shops and amenities. Very friendly - will always go back when visiting Thetford area.」
「Only spent one night here but our room was really good (modern and felt new). Had everything we needed and bed/pillows really good. It was hot night but expected it with the nice weather (room did have a small cooling unit and we brought our own fan). Nice bar and restaurant attached. Would stay here again next time we come to Haverhill.」
