"I arrived on an evening with storms and heavy fog. The front desk clerk was mildly friendly and provided almost no detail upon check in. Like that the cable had been knocked out and my TV didn't work. She advised I just unplug to reset. That didn't work. I could never connect to secure wifi service and the staff was not helpful with this. My shower door would not stay closed. Even with a washcloth jammed in there- I gave up. The room guide was missing. As a property, I was so disappointed to find no restaurants nearby. I won't be staying at this property again."

"A messed up shoulder prompted me to rent a room with a tub. My stay was comfortable and the room was clean. The tub, however, was gross. I took the couple hours to clean it myself, run the jets, then reclean/skim after all the "remnants" came out. To be fair, that is probably to be expected at any hotel with an in unit hot tub... Other than that added shoulder pain, my stay was great"

"worst customer service that I’ve ever encountered. Misleading information between staff caused great The customer is put in the middle without regard to circumstances. Needless to say, I will no longer be using this hotel in the future. Due to extreme weather conditions and tornadoes in Michigan, flights were canceled and travel plans had to be adjusted. They were inflexible and charged me for one night when it wasn’t used. Hotels.com made the original reservation and reached out to the administrative staff at the Kingsley Inn, who still stood firm and did not offer a room credit for a future use. I was not looking for my money back. I was simply trying to rebook the room in the future. I’m sure that there are other hotels that would appreciate my business."
