"This hotel was close to all sorts of restaurants. There is no air conditioning, but there was a fan in the room. The hotel is a sight to see! How it has been restored and maintained over the years is a true gem."

"Rude and condescending reception staff, would only talk to my husband, a ridiculous check in process of passports - not had that anywhere else in Australia. The property is falling to pieces, floor boards which feel like you will fall through them, tiles falling off the wall in the bathroom. The view which was their main selling point was questionable as had loads of run down buildings in front of you. Expected a lot better "

"The staff were friendly and helpful. Found an issue with the fridge. Water everywhere and not cold. It was cleaned up quickly but during the night it was evident that it had been turned down by previous guests as it was super noisy. Bedding was very fresh as usual and comfortable mattress but the net curtains needed a turn in the washing machine. Bit of black mould on them. "
