"This hotel was fantastic, from the staff (extremely friendly and accommodating), to the hotel rooms (beds comfortable, pillows/sheets super soft, space decorated nicely), to the amenities (spa). We had the half board added onto our package which meant we got breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was a buffet style; with a ton of delicious options to select from. The lady attending breakfast was extremely friendly and attentive. We assumed the dinner would be similar to breakfast; buffet style but were pleasantly surprised as it was a seated dinner where you selected from the half board menu. The dinner every day was remarkable. If you are planning on travelling to this area I highly recommend staying here as you will not be disappointed! "

"Beautiful property, and stunning views. Owner and staff were warm and friendly. Dinner was delicious, and a good value. Breakfast was beautiful. Would have loved to stay longer. It is a bit of a hike from the train station with luggage, but they have a shuttle that will take you to the station in the morning. My only complaints, and this is nit-picking...seats are too close at dinner (was uncomfortable for an introvert) and there could be a bit more protein options at breakfast. That being said the fried eggs were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Will always have fond memories of our stay at Hotel Alpenrose. Do not hesitate booking. You will not be disappointed."

"We loved this hotel. We felt extremely welcomed from the moment we arrived. We had a great lunch on the patio before checking in, then had a great Fondue dinner inside after hiking the Panorama trail (the highlight of our entire trip). Breakfast was excellent as well. We got a forest view room, which while small, was updated and modern and made great use of the space. It also had a very nice view of the chalets on the hill and a group of goats. Will be staying there and in Wengen in the future."

"It was super close to railroad tracks but never heard a sound. The walk to/from train station is steep, partially gravel and you have to lift your suitcase over the greased cog tracks as you cross. There is a nice hike to Staubbach Falls but the falls were not very large due to it being fall. Workers were nice. Evidently there was a free breakfast but they didn’t share that until we were checking out. "

"Great property and amazing staff. Unable to control the tempreture in room, so it can get warm or cold in the room. Also, no mini fridge in room abd limited water in room. Bring drinks if you are thirsty."
